Distance is no barrier to making art

Maggie & Sharon

Maggie & Sharon

Some folks drive great distances to attend Maggie’s classes. Sharon drives once a week from Guelph to enjoy mixed media classes.

As Sharon says, “Maggie’s a fabulous teacher! She taught me how to draw after I had tried to learn  in three other studios. Now I am enjoying mixed media every week. And what a great studio: A community of painters; great teachers who are well-qualified and know what they are doing, and a wonderful relaxed teaching style that helps me learn at my own pace.”
Whether you are near or far, join us at Karma Creative art studio to learn at your own pace.

Falling for Resin

Spices, found objects, wire, photographs: Mixed media artists, Donna Blanco,  and Alana, spent a busy weekend experimenting with resin. We spent a day on resin basics, and a day of trying everything but the kitchen sink.

Clockwise from top left: weird wire, careful measuring, “water & syrup,” freeing the ducks (no wood support) “Wow! You put that in the resin?”

Join us for basics, evenings in October, or sign up for a full workshop. See the calendar, or contact us to book times that meet your needs.
