Karma Creative is an art studio in Toronto devoted to visual arts programs for adults. We take a developmental approach to adult learning and art-making.  We focus on the needs of individuals even in group classes and workshops.

Maggie Doswell, MFA, BFA, BSc, MBA, MPM, Certified Project Management Professional
Maggie is a practicing visual artist and teacher. She has worked in a variety of sectors including hospital management , non-profit management, and art services management. She has extensive theoretical knowledge of cognition and its practical application in the workplace, as well as change management. Since 2000, Maggie has embarked upon a journey into another sector – visual arts. Upon successful development of her own art-making business, Maggie set about to use creative approaches to assist individuals and organizations use art and art-related activities for personal and professional development.

Karen Chisvin M. Arch, MCE, BA, Trained LEGO© Serious Play™ Facilitator
Karen is a practicing architect and visual artist. She has worked in a variety of sectors as architect, workplace consultant and community volunteer. She brings an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to her work in all arenas. Karen has a particular interest in adult learning as a developmental, leadership and growth opportunity.

Maggie and Karen are partners at Karma Creative art studio. We welcome artists working in many media with skills ranging from novice to expert. We combine our extensive academic training with practical experience and a personal touch. Please join us!
